Troy Allen
Troy Allen has over 18 years experience in the insurance and financial services industries. Having worked in small community banks and Fortune 500 Firms, his knowledge base is varied and in-depth. Although his positions varied over time, Troy’s primary responsibilities revolved around managing marketing and operations and concentrated heavily on direct response marketing channels. Most of these positions required extensive product and process design and deployment. In particular, they concentrated on continuous improvement of current technological resources and integration of new technology to improve both the customer experience and process efficiency.

Prior to coming to Broker to Broker, Troy spent over four years as the chief architect of Kroll’s Fraud Solutions group. As Chief Operating Officer Fraud Solutions, he set the direction of the company to ensure its continued success in identity theft discovery, investigation and restoration. Troy is a seasoned expert in security and risk mitigation who focused on the increasing challenges faced by the public and private sectors in protecting sensitive data and personal information from loss, theft and fraud. He was a frequent speaker and author on the types of data breaches being experienced by thousands of organizations, and what steps can be taken to better protect confidential data and to recover it should a data breach occur.  He spent a significant amount of time counseling corporations, non-profits and government entities on data protection and data breach response.

Troy holds an MBA with a concentration in Marketing and an Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Jeff Jones
Jeff gained extensive experience in the areas of corporate management and operations development during his 11-year career with one of the nations largest banking institutions. Jeff managed the data center and facilitated in the technological growth of data center operations. He was instrumental in the formulation of operational procedures, disaster recovery planning and the coordination of technical support during multiple mergers and acquisitions.

After relocation of the data center, which happens quite frequently in the financial services industry, Jeff chose to direct his management and organizational skills to a local university where he assumed a management position. While at the university, Jeff served on numerous Total Quality Management Teams.

Ultimately, Jeff was approached with an opportunity to become a partner in a services organization, which would later merge with one of its largest clients, Broker to Broker.

As a key senior manager at Broker to Broker, Jeff is a driving force behind the advancement and development of our systems and processes. Throughout his career, Jeff has maintained an exceptional standard for quality and customer relations.

Jeff Swackhammer
Jeff Swackhammer, the founder of Broker to Broker back in 1991, began his financial services career in 1980 with Merrill Lynch in Los Angeles.  Over the next few years, Jeff climbed the ranks rapidly and secured a corporate training position, focusing on operations training and customer service.  In 1984, Jeff moved to New York to join their national team of operations trainers.  Throughout his experience as a trainer, he authored many “how-to” manuals and produced both classroom and self-tutorial learning programs.

In 1986, Jeff joined Drexel Burnham Lambert to develop and implement their systems training program for brokers and branch operations personnel.  Additionally, he began to work on the integration of technology into Drexel’s back office and retail branch network.  This evolved into a position as an operations analyst with Drexel’s “Management Planning” group whose charge was to make their operations the most innovative on Wall Street.  Ultimately, Jeff’s responsibilities at Drexel exposed him to the vastness of Wall Street operations.

In 1991, Jeff made the leap from Corporate America to Small Business Owner. After experiencing first hand the difficulties branches endured transferring the clients of securities brokers they hired, he created Broker to Broker, a unique and proprietary solution. Since then, Jeff has dedicated his time and career to improving and automating this process in an effort to be the best and most affordable solution available in the financial services market.
